The AXR is a line scanning confocal microscope. It offers a 25mm FOV. It is equipped with two scanners, a 2k resonant scanner and an 8k galvano scanner. It is equipped with 4 conventional detectors, two MA-PMT and 2 GAasp. The two GAASP detectors are fitted with adjustable filters to customize the detection range.
The AXR is also equipped with the NSPARC augmented resolution module. This Spatial Array Confocal detector enables acquisitions to be made with twice the lateral resolution and a greatly increased signal-to-noise ratio. It can be used in both resonant and galvanic modes, depending on imaging requirements.
