The 5th Anniversary of NIMCE @ Institut Curie
8th February 2013
For the last five years Nikon, Curie Institute and CNRS has put together their expertise and know how to make the Nikon Imaging Center@Curie Institute-CNRS an efficient platform for the scientific community.
During these five years, the three partners managed to anticipate the technological evolution in the field of microscopy and imaging technics to provide the researchers with the latest innovation, especially in terms of automation for biological images acquisition.
This partnership also allowed the outcome of joint projects exploring new direction to understand cancer biology and possible adaptation of imaging technics to the latest evolution of this scientific area.
These projects also focus on bridging the gap between biological observation at different scales, nanoscopy, microscopy, macroscopy by studying, for instance, molecular behavior in a multi cellular environment.
